Lifetime Membership Policy Change

 

We’ve  made changes to our lifetime members policy. The policy goes into effect in 2019. The reason for the change is twofold. We have a long list of lifetime members and do not know if they still reside in the area. And for safety reasons we want to ensure all members are up to date on policy and procedure changes. The new policy is as follows:

Lifetime members will be required to fill out a membership application prior to receiving a membership card. The membership application can be accepted by the members of the Board of Directors and does not require approval of the membership at a general meeting. Lifetime members who are not regularly active, will attend orientation every five years, starting on their fifth year.

The definition of an active member is one who uses the range and or attends meetings.
